Our buddy Cesar is back, and this time he’s bringing the reinforcements! Swing on by On Friday, September 11th from 5-8pm to taste through the wines of Le Monde, a gem of Fruili! Cesar will be joined by Friuli wine ambassador Giovanni Brumat, offering up the MOST appropriate wines to pair with our beloved Pizza Slut’s offerings!

Located in western Friuli, Le Monde’s site has agricultural roots going all the way back to the 1700s - though it has changed hands a few times over the years. A local named Alex Maccan, always with an admiring eye on the site, purchased the property in 2008, with a pretty simple focus - produce wines with estate fruit, and showcase single varietal bottlings with an unmistakeable sense of place. Trust me…he’s done a fantastic job!
