When traveling Europe, one thing becomes clear pretty quickly - the wines people actually drink every day aren’t the rare trophies or collector bottles we tend to chase in the U.S. They’re fresh, honest wines from nearby regions, bottles meant to live on the table alongside food, conversation, and another round of bread. These are wines that locals order without thinking twice, maybe not by the carafe at lunch (we’re stepping it up a notch) but great for a regular ol Tuesday night nonetheless!
This lineup highlights that spirit. Grower Champagnes made by farming families rather than giant houses, a juicy Cortese from Piedmont’s Gavi hills, Rioja in both its refreshing white and earthy red forms, and a plush Barbera based blend from Monferrato. None of these wines are trying to be monumental, they’re meant to be enjoyed, the way Europeans tend to approach wine: casually, frequently, and always with good friends!
Our buddy Derrick from International Wine Company will be here to guide us through six wines, all handcrafted by real families that care about real wine! All this for just $25, sign me up! 👇
